Bureau Veritas Vietnam is awarded a significan contract for Construction Management
On June 11, 2010, North An Khanh New City Development Joint Venture Co., Ltd (An Khanh JVC) and Bureau Veritas Viet Nam signed a contract for Construction Management for the Phase 1 of North An Khanh Splendora – New City (Splendora) Project, one of the biggest projects in Vietnam.
Quality of this project has been set as one of the priority objectives by An Khanh JVC since the beginning of the project. In this context, Bureau Veritas Vietnam has been trusted to assist An Khanh JVC along the project cycle in term of Construction Coordination and Control, QA/QC Services, Safety Management, Technical Review and Support, Schedule Control, Design Control.
Splendora Project is invested by Vietnam Export - Import & Construction Corporation – VINACONEX JSC and POSCO E&C Construction (Korea) with 2.57 billion USD. Splendora is supposed to become the best modern city in Vietnam with total area 264.13 ha, located at An Khanh commune, Hoai Duc district, Hanoi, Vietnam. Stage 1 of this project is built on an area of 50 ha, including among others: The Villas, Terrace Houses, High-rise Apartment and Office Buildings, Public Buildings, Kindergartens, Schools, etc.
